Until recently there were no entry points to Kalagarh Tiger Reserve from Pauri District. This has been a strange phenomenon since two-thirds of Corbett National Park lies in Pauri district. Since this gate (Vatanvasa) is now open, there has been a consistent growth in the number of tourists visiting Corbett National Park through this location.
