Rasiyabad (Jhilmil Jheel) FRH on the Nazibabad road falls under the Chiriyapur range of Haridwar Forest Division. It was built in 1889 and is big FRH with a huge campus at an elevation of 403m. It is close to Jhilmil Jheel, a conservation reserve which is home to approx. 250 swamp deer also listed as an endangered in the IUCN list, Swamp deer can be sighed at very few places in India and Rasiyabad in Uttarakhand is one of them. The setting up of the 38 sq km saucer shaped wetland has helped in increasing the number of swamp deer which was fast dwindling.
