The FRH at Muni-ki-reti is located on the Rishikesh-Badrinath National highway. It was built in 1963-64 at an elevation of 367m and is along the river Ganga. Rishikesh town has several attractions like rafting, rock climbing, beach camping and trekking. The Ganga arti in the evening is a delight to participate in. The Ram and Laxman jhula and several temples are a big attraction. Neer Jharna waterfall a community based project supported by the forest department is close by. A guided trek uphill along the waterfall to get a bird’s eye view of the Ganga is worth taking.
